“I wanted a perfect ending.. Now, I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity.” Gilda Radner
Yes, life is seldom, if ever, perfect. Delicious ambiguity. . . I love that! The deliciousness of not knowing, the excitement of every day and the possibilities and what could be. Will today be spicy? Sweet? Unsavory? Well-seasoned? All the possibilities definitely keep life interesting do they not? Sometimes life is pleasing, other times not. But that is the beauty of us. People have an amazing ability to adapt, to change, to accept and move on. Granted, some better than others. The unexpectedness of some things though can leave a bad taste in your mouth. That’s life and it’s not perfect. You can be sad, mad, depressed, grumble about it, dwell on it, or you can accept/change and move on. It’s all up to you.
So why not take that excitement of every day and revel in the possibilities of what can be. Don’t dwell on the past and what you might have done or what you think you should have done. Enjoy the now and make it all it can be. Be in the moment and enjoy the deliciousness. Savor the uncertainty and make of it what you can. You never know what might happen. . . make the best of each day and be willing to change it up! Don’t be bland. Choose new spices and mix it up! It may not turn out exactly like you intend, but it can still be delicious!
